Peter Clist – Petersfield Town Council, St Peter’s ward
Linda and I have lived in Petersfield for eight years, after twenty-eight in Liphook where we raised our three boys. We often came to Petersfield for its interesting shops and open spaces and I’d want to help enhance and preserve them.
I have wide experience working in large companies, primarily in Human Resources, at home and abroad. I now teach weekly classes in French and Spanish for the local U3A. I enjoy some of the sporting options the U3A offers. I am also an active member of St Mary Magdalen Church, Sheet.
I am passionate about ensuring high-quality, well-funded state education. I was a school governor, sixteen years in Liphook, then four at Herne Junior. I also used to hear reading at Herne and was a (paid) tutor of school governors for Hampshire and am a volunteer at Petersfield Museum.
If elected, I will do my best to serve all residents.
