Phil Shaw – PTC Ramshill
My wife and I have lived in Petersfield for over 34 years. I came to the area in the 1970s when I joined the Royal Navy and fell in love with the town. My working life was spent serving society and my local community. After 24 years in the Royal Navy, including active service in the Falklands and the former Yugoslavia, I qualified as a Mental Health Nurse. I spent 12 years as a Community Mental Health Nurse for older people in Petersfield before moving into clinical research and then senior NHS Management. I retired last year. I am also a Governor at a local primary school.
I feel my skills and experience make me an ideal person to represent local residents and, if elected, I will do all I can to make sure Petersfield gets the high-quality services it deserves.
