General Election 2019 Result

To see the results click on Read More. We would like to thank everyone who voted and helped us. Our share up 9% to 24%.  Nationally about 5,000 more votes in the the right places would have given us another 6 MPs, such is the vagaries of the voting system.

Damian Hinds majority was reduced by over 6,000 votes, and by gaining 5,300 votes we overtook Labour, now having more than double their vote share. We would like to have been a bit closer, but it was a very good performance considering Conservative gains elsewhere.

Damian Hinds                     33,446             (-4.9%)

David Buxton                      13,750            (+9.0%)

Gaynor Austin = Labour         6,287             (-5.9%)

Zoe Parker - Green               2,600            (+1.4%)

Jim Makin - UKIP                     616             (+1.1%)

Eddie Trotter - JAC                  196              (-0.7%)

Turnout 74.7%
