I grew up in Hampshire and have lived in Buriton for over 25 years. In that time I have been active in the local community as a parish councillor, chair of the village shop association and churchwarden. As a chartered accountant I have 25 years' experience working in the UK and overseas (in Russia, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Austria). I am married with three adult children. My interests include choral singing and cross country skiing.
I have concerns about the impact on Clanfield of being located just outside the South Downs National Park. And as an accountant, I believe that the Conservatives are ignoring the risks of East Hampshire District Council’s commercial property portfolio. I care about the lack of availability of social and affordable housing in the area so will push for the EHDC funds to be invested instead in new local housing for residents.
