Ginny Boxall

Ginny has lived and worked in the Alton area since 1971. She is proud to have set up Alton Toy Library, helped to set up Alton Pregnancy Crisis Centre, and serves as a volunteer in Stepping Stones Friday. Ginny is a qualified Social Worker and pre School playgroup leader and has worked as a Learning Support Assistant at Treloar College and School. She set up the Anxiety Café and is now starting an Anxiety Pub space. Ginny runs her own photography business and an active member of the Alton Society on the Sustainability team.

Ginny wants access to Education for all and fully understands the importance of early help at Bushy Leaze children's centre. As a Green Liberal Democrat she cares passionately about Alton and our environment and is well known for her tireless work to protect Treloar Butterfly Meadows.

Ginny says “Alton is a wonderful place to live. I will work hard for our people and our environment.”

 Cllr. Pam Jones

Pam has lived and worked in Alton for over 40 years and represented Whitedown Ward for nearly 20 years and been Mayor twice. As Vice Chair of Open Spaces, she chairs the Flood Meadows / Kings Pond steering group and is on the Allotment Sub Committee and the Skate Park working group.

‘Green’ Liberal Democrat Pam will continue to safeguard ecologically sensitive areas in the town. She represents the council on Alton Buckle and chairs the Youth Provision committee which is establishing a Kings Arms youth centre in Alton. Formerly on the Neighbourhood Plan Steering group, Pam has recently reviewed the Health and Education provision for the town; her report formed part of the Town Council’s submission to EHDC on the Local Plan consultation.

Pam says “I believe active involvement in the local community keeps you grounded and underpins being a good Councillor.  I hope to continue to serve Alton people after the election.”
